Volunteering terms and Conditions
Volunteer organization Nepal accepts volunteer from around the world following given terms and conditions for its entire volunteering program and any other program manage through the organization. Before completing the application form please read these terms and conditions carefully; following terms and conditions are an agreement between you and us. When you make an application to volunteer in Nepal, you are agreeing to what is stated below.
01. Application fee
To complete your volunteer application form volunteers have to pay US$ 50 (a non-refundable) per person. When application fee approved then we send you program conformation email.
02: Airport Receive/ Transfer
Our representative will meet you at the airport and will transfer you to your hotel/placement/home stay according to the nature of your chosen programs.
03: Orientation
Orientation will be provided by our staff; orientation covers an area like, culture, greetings, locations, transportation etc. We will not take any responsibility if local situation do not allow for this to take place for any natural reasons beyond our control.
04: Food and accommodation
3 local meals will be provided in projects depending on the circumstances- unless otherwise specified.Almost all placements have residential accommodation arrangements, however if that is not available volunteers will be staying with a local welcoming and educated family.
05: Travel assistance
If participants like to travel around, we provide with full support for bookings and arrangements to travel within Nepal only.
06: Staff supports
24 hours support provided by our local staff. All participants will have cell phone numbers of local contact person.
07: Pre-departure information
After we receive application fee all participants are provided by pre-departure information by e-mail.
08: Payment and application process
Once we receive your application along with your application payment of US$50 we will process your application soonest. We will send you a final confirmation of your application by e-mail.
09: Refund of policy
Application fee is not refunded in any condition, if you leave program in between then also we cannot refund you.
10: Photos and feedback
By agreeing to the terms and conditions you agree that we can use your photos and written feedback while at the project to post on website as stuff.
11: This agreement will end with you in case of following reasons
1, if we find that you are engaged in any illegal activities or convicted of any criminal activities before or during the project period.
2, If it is believed that any of your action or behavior is threatening or unacceptable to the society or anyone involved with the project based on the judgment of the project staff and coordinator.
3, any information provided by you to us during the time of enrollment is incorrect
4, you voluntarily decide to select out of the program in between.
5, if you are found taking drugs or using such material while in the project
6, if you are found to be engaged in impolite behavior while your stay in the host family
Other situation : In case the agreement is terminated due to any of the above reasons or reasons relating to the above, you will not be entitled to any refund from organization.
